Five Star delivered fantastic customer service to us. We had a challenging job for them and they came through for us. We had large trees over a ditch and power lines plus they were very close to our house. Not one complaint from us. They finished on time and cleaned the yard of all debris. Really good service. Five Star Tree Service came to our house today and we are so pleased! They did a ton of work on three large podocarpus trees, a Brazilian pepper tree, an oak, and two palms. We are extremely happy with their work, from the helpful and courteous attitudes of staff, to attention to detail and pricing that was affordable. They did a fantastic job. When it's time for another round of tree trimming, this is the company we will call again. They've earned our business and their name!

UPDATE: 2.18.21 We called Josh at Five Star to trim dead branches from our palms and tree branches beginning to grow back over our roof and driveway. They did a great job and cleaned everything up perfectly. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends!

They did an awesome job! Josh quoted us the day before and had the crew out the next day. Kyle, Eric, and Seth had the job done within a few hours and had the wood stacked nicely for us to use for firewood. Look forward to using them again in the near future. You won't be disappointed in the quality of their work!

We had an overgrown oak tree in the front yard of our new house, with branches dangerously looming over our carport and blocking our yard from getting sun. Josh returned our call quickly, came out the next day and gave us a very fair quote. The team was here the next business day and spent over 7 hours perfecting our tree. They did beautiful work and now we have a ton of light in our house! The team was hardworking and professional. And again, the price was amazing. We highly recommend Five Star and will definitely use them again for our future tree needs!

After having a company come out and complete 10% of a job leaving a huge brush pile in my yard never to return or answer the phone again I called Josh at 5 Star. He responded to my inquiry the same day (a Sunday), was out to give me an estimate Monday morning and had the job completed Tuesday. They even hauled away the pile the other company just left. He gave me a fair quote and gave me advice on trimming/ de-booting/ thinning my trees. He sent pictures of the completed job as I wasn't home to see the finished work before he even brought up payment. Always a good feeling when the company makes sure your satisfied before money is discussed. I won't call any another tree service in the future. These guys are doing it right.

I had a huge tree fall on a power line and made quite the mess, the City would not pick it up unless, THE TREE, was in 36" bundles, with company coming for Thanksgiving and no where to park, oh because a massive tree was lying in the front yard, I google and found Josh at 5 star tree service, he responded immediately. Since I couldn't be home the next morning he sent his crew out at 5:30pm and they worked til way after dark. They did an incredible job and highly recommend this company.

We were very impressed with five star Tree Service. They quickly gave us an estimate came out and completed the job. We had looked at other tree services, but they never got back to us. They have very hard-working men in their staff. The job was estimated fairly and completed on time. I would highly recommend them.

If you need any kind of work done in your yard that involves tree removal or trimmings I would highly recommend Five Star Tree Service, Josh and his guys are reliable, professional and there prices are fair and reasonable compared to other company's I got quoted for the job. They did excellent work of trimming a oak tree that was making a mess on my driveway and sidewalk and cleaned up everything when they finished.

From the great estimate, to the extensive work, to the cleanup everything was so perfect. The crew was so hard working and polite...really took pride in their job. I procrastinated getting my numerous oak trees trimmed, dead limbs removed, 3 Brazilian pepper trees and a mango tree removed but they took care of everything. I won't put off keeping my trees under control again. Great company great staff.THANKS!

Josh returned my original call after an hour. I have been trying to get a tree trimmed and a tree cut down since May. I contacted Five Star as I saw their truck in the area and they had it done within 4 days and was very satisfied with the work they did. Eric and Rob were very nice. Eric explained all what he was doing and checked in after the work was complete to make sure it met my satisfaction. They cleaned up, raked and blew off the debris.

I called for an estimate and the owner came within a few hours to give me an estimate. His estimate was fair and realistic. I told him to make it happen Captain. He did! Within 3 hours the crew was there and worked way past dark. The crew was happy and pleasant to be around. The Army Ranger was the best. Funny as hell and crazy as can be. They were fabulous. This is the second year I have had Five Star Tree Service prune our 13 very tall palm trees. Eric has done them both times. Look no further! Five Star Tree Service is the best. I searched for weeks and had multiple tree service companies come out to look at a major project I had in Largo, FL. I had over 40 70-80 ft Australian Pines, a few of which were dead and falling branch by heavy branch, growing between my neighbor's house and several steel buildings I manage--a hazardous and potentially deadly situation. No one wanted to do the job and the few that did wanted outrageous sums of money due to the difficulty of the project. The only other competitive bid came from a company that wanted to use the parking lots of the tenants for days and a massive crane to remove the trees and would have heavily disrupted their business, an unacceptable proposal. I called Josh and he was out there the next day to look at it. He gave me a quote, told me his crew wouldn't bother the tenants and even worked with my neighbor to complete the project through power lines, extreme heat, and very close quarters. His crew was great and I can't speak highly enough about the skill and professionalism of Eric, the MAN who was up there in the trees getting them down. He's surgical with a chainsaw--truly impressive and great to talk to. It was incredible to watch and they did a phenomenal job. Those trees would have destroyed the buildings or my neighbor's home I'm sure of it and I owe Five Star a debt of gratitude for coming all the way out to Pinellas in the height of the summer heat to resolve the situation. Thank you Josh, Eric, and Justin and the rest of the crew for all your hard work and I wish you all success and safety in the future! For those of you looking for a tree service, if they could do my job they can do any job, trust me!

These guys did an awesome job!!! I have to say I was somewhat apprehensive to want to get the trees trimmed......In the past I had damage to my wall, landscape lighting, ground cover and just overall a mess to deal with after the work was done. As soon as I meet Eric I know he had this......He knew what he was doing. He was very mindful of the property and easy to communicate with. When the guys were finished I could not even tell work was just done......Everything was nicely cleaned up!

Ours was a superior experience- from the time we called for an estimate to the finished job, Five Star exceeded our expectations! We have a large yard with many trees of different varieties, and Josh really listened to our needs and concerns. The estimate was done right away (same day), was a really reasonable price, and the ob was booked just a couple of days later. The team showed up on time, did a walk through with us, and proceeded to do a fantastic job. Our trees have never looked this good! Eric really showed his expertise in how he shaped the trees, paying attention to their health as much as how they look. Clean up was great, and the team made sure we were happy before they left. These 2 guys did incredible work taking out 4 big pine trees in 1 1/2 days and with virtually no damage to my surrounding schrubs. They were very professional and curtious. I highly recommend this company. John
